Roman streets and houses were filled with impressive sculptures, including portraits of emperors, family members, and mythological figures. The Romans were fond of Ancient Greek sculptures and often made copies of them. In the exhibition galleries, your students will observe full-body statues and portraits of Roman citizens. By observing and reasoning, they learn to identify and name key stylistic features.
