Offer a privileged setting to your guests in the Cinquantenaire Park. The sumptuous building created for the fiftieth anniversary of Belgian independence is dedicated to the great civilizations and cultures of the world.

The Art & History Museum offers you the opportunity to organize private evenings, receptions, conferences, dinners, symposiums, and other events in a unique historical setting. If you wish, you can take advantage of your event to enjoy a guided tour of a museum or temporary exhibition. Let yourself be inspired by the grandeur of our heritage.

THE GRAND NARTHEX

With a surface area of nearly 780 sqm, the Grand Narthex can accommodate receptions of up to 750 people. For dinners, it can host up to 500 guests. Architecturally speaking, the Grand Narthex is one of the most beautiful halls in the museum.

During the day, it benefits from pleasant natural light. Additionally, its illuminated ceiling and metal structures always leave a strong impression, as do the large paintings hanging on the walls. THA CLOISTER

The room called "Cloister" was erected before the First World War in a neo-Gothic style. It is based on models belonging to the French architectural landscape of the late 12th and early 13th centuries, as well as the Brabantine Gothic style of the 15th and 16th centuries. The space can accommodate 150 people (for receptions or dinners). This area opens onto a majestic inner garden and houses pre-Romanesque and Romanesque sculptures originating from our most important production centers. APAMEA HALL

The Apamea Hall can accommodate receptions for up to 500 guests. For dinners, the capacity is 250 seated persons. The impressive reconstruction of the central section of the Great Colonnade of Apamea (Syria), reminiscent of the Belgian archaeological excavations carried out on this site since 1930, is the main feature of this hall. From there, a magnificent view opens up to the large 'mosaic of the great hunt' from the residence of the governor of Syria Secunda (5th - 6th century AD).

 

SMALL NARTHEX CONFERENCE ROOM

A conference room with fixed theater-style chairs, which can accommodate 142 people. During the day, its large windows allow for enjoying natural daylight.

 

AUDITORIUM & FOYER

The auditorium is a modern auditorium with 236 fixed seats and an adjoining foyer. An ideal place to hold your conferences and then enjoy the Foyer for gathering around a cocktail or a dinner reception.

THE COUNCIL ROOM

The Council Room is an ideal space for your meetings or conferences. The room can accommodate up to 40 people, with tables arranged in a U-shape. The various paintings that adorn the room add a special atmosphere to your events.

ANTIQUITY CONFERENCE ROOM

A meeting room equipped with chairs and tables that can be arranged according to your preference. The place is very calm and will easily facilitate the organization of your meetings or conferences.

Catering & Audiovisual

Our museum offers complete freedom in choosing catering and audiovisual suppliers. Clients are free to select their providers according to their preferences. However, the Royal Museums of Art and History reserve the right to refuse any provider who does not comply with the general conditions of room rental.

Security

For conferences requiring specific security measures, the client will be responsible for the costs associated with hiring security agents. The security agents of the Art & History Museum are provided for the general security of the building and for event supervision. An independent request must be made by clients to the provider of their choice.

CATERING & AUDIOVISUAL

 

Notre musée offre une liberté totale en matière de choix de traiteur et de fournisseur audiovisuel. Les clients sont libres de sélectionner leurs prestataires selon leurs préférences. Cependant, les Musées Royaux d'Art et d'Histoire se réservent le droit de refuser tout prestataire ne respectant pas les conditions générales de location des salles.

SÉCURITÉ

 

Pour les conférences qui nécessiteraient des mesures de sécurité particulières, le client devra supporter les frais concernant l’engagement d’agents de sécurité en plus auprès du fournisseur de son choix. . Les agents de sécurité du Musée Art & Histoire sont prévus pour la sécurité générale du bâtiment et pour la supervision de l'événement. 

Salles de Receptions

 

Les Musées Royaux d'Art et d'Histoire offrent un service de location de salles idéal pour des événements prestigieux tels que des soirées de gala et des dîners somptueux. Avec plusieurs espaces disponibles, notre musée peut accueillir des événements de différentes tailles, qu'il s'agisse de soirées élégantes ou de soirées académiques. Nos salles offrent un cadre unique et historique, imprégné de l'art et de l'histoire qui caractérisent notre institution.

Politique d'annulation 

Au cas où le locataire, pour une raison ou pour une autre, dans la période qui suit la signature de la convention, décide d’annuler l’événement, les Musées gardent alors la moitié de l’acompte versé ainsi que la  garantie (750 €), à titre de dédommagement.  

Dans le cas où les Musées, pour une raison ou pour une autre, décide d’annuler l’événement, l’acompte versé par le locataire lui sera entièrement restitué.
