Workshop engraving: Graphic Journey in the Far North

Aurélie Wilmet, a young comic book artist who is exhibiting her drawings with Elene Usdin alongside Carl Norac’s Inuit collection, will introduce children to this very simple way of producing infinite multiples of an engraving on erasers, in the manner of Inuit artists!

Aurélie Wilmet is a young Brussels-based comic book author. After studying art at the ESA Saint-Luc and the Ecole de Recherche Graphique, she published her first album, Rorbuer, with Super-Loto Editions in 2020 (FWB First Work in Comics Award 2020). Her next comic book « Épinette Noire » will take place in the Far North of Quebec, in Inuit territory. In 2021, as part of this project, she has been invited to spend two months in residence in Canada by Québec BD.
