Contexts and crafts
The Art & History Museum will host a study day devoted to the decorative arts and craft industries of the 19th century. The event brings together multiple disciplines and perspectives, encouraging dialogue between art historians and historians, curators, students, heritage professionals, and enthusiasts alike. Special emphasis is placed on the study of making processes and techniques, offering fresh insights into the material and cultural worlds of the period.
