IRSHAAB

The IRSHAAB (Institut Royal Supérieur d'Histoire de l'Art et d'Archéologie de Bruxelles) offers French-language lectures and courses in art history and archaeology. The classes cover all periods, from prehistory to the present day. Subjects such as Pre-Columbian America and the Renaissance are taught, as well as musicology, aesthetics, contemporary art, and the art market.

The institute was founded in 1903 and became a public institution in 1931. It is housed in the Art & History Museum, where the courses take place.
