Pop up: Japanese prints
Exclusive pop up expo Japanese prints
The succes of this pop-up expo surpassed our expactations. We're very sorry to have to disappoint quite a few people, but the weekend of the 26th and the 27th of December is completely sold out.
2020 wasn't the most joyful year ever.
To conclude in beauty the Art & History Museum offers you an exlusive pop up exposition in the last weekend of the year.
The 26th and 27th of December you'll have the chance to admire six prints from our collection of Japanese prints, specially selected for this occasion by our curator.
We'll show you amongst others 'Under the Wave off Kanagawa', probably the most famous Japanese print in the world, of which we own a print. We'll also be showing you prints by Hiroshige and Hasui.
Due to the Covid 19 measures, the number of tickets for this pop up is very limited. Tickets can only be bought beforehand, online and per time slot. Once sold out we can't allow any more visitors, so we advise you to buy your tickets as soon as possible.
This pop up expo is free when you buy a ticket for our permanent collections. This expo is part of the corona-safe tour through the museum: you must follow this tour to see the expo.
All information on planning your visit can be found on our page 'Practical info'.
